The M.O.R. Museum of Rackets was founded on the initiative of Paolo Bertolino, an operator in the sector who combines his profession as a stringer with an extraordinary passion for Tennis.

The racket collection started almost for fun more than 20 years ago and over time it has been enriched thanks to meticulous research, both in vintage markets and online, and also with the contribution of donations from enthusiasts from all over Italy.

Officially the Museum was established on September 7th, 2017 and has been operated as a cultural association since that date.

The venue is open to the public, with a guided tour upon reservation.

The collection is unique in its kind, both in Italy and abroad, counting over 1300 pieces, all different from each other: the visit traces an itinerary through the 145 years of history of Tennis, from its birth to present, retracing the evolution of the tool through the materials and technologies that have succeeded over the years.

The Museum is located in the heart of Roero, about 40 km from Turin, in a completely renovated farmhouse in Baldissero d’Alba, a small municipality in the center of the Bra-Canale-Alba triangle.

Since 2016, a collaboration has been active with the Roger Federer Foundation to raise funds for development projects in Africa, through the distribution of exclusive material.
